Perry K-12 Counseling Philosophy
The Perry School District Counselors believe that each student has the potential to achieve and shall have access to full time state licensed professional school counselors. An integral part of the total educational experience, the comprehensive Perry School Counseling program is based on developmental goals, content standards and performance benchmarks for all students K-12. District counselors will use data to drive program development and evaluation as part of a continuous improvement process. Our successful comprehensive counseling program requires the cooperative effort of counselors, students, teachers, administrators, support staff, parents and community to meet the academic, career and personal social needs of each student we serve.
